Spectacular Swaziland!
Sometime back, I visited The Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland) in the southern part of Africa and I was amazed by their rich culture so much that I learnt a little Swazi language. Below are some conversations I had with my friends from The Kingdom of Eswatini:
Hello – Saubona (singular), Sanibonani (plural)
How are you? – Unjani
I’m fine – Nyaphila
I’m fine and you? – Wena Ke
My name is Pat – Lami ngu Pat
I am from Kenya – Ngiwase Kenya
Good bye (stay well) – Sala kahle
Go well – Hamba kahle
